Salvatore Ferragamo - Danya

Every time I look at drawstring bags I think of my childhood. I don't remember if I ever talked about this type of bag and the memories it bring before but I can't help it every time I look at a drawastring style. Back in the day, this was my favorite shape. Not that I knew that many bags then but because it was a bag my mom had, and of course, I wanted to have my mom's bags as they were the few I knew. And now Ferragamo is here to please me with a super expensive drawstring called Danya. Super expensive but super worth it! It's gorgeous! The size is amazing (for a drawstring bag,) the opening is a good size and the colors are also nice and bright. Classic Ferragamo hardware is always a bonus.

Balenciaga - City Arena Polka Dots

Balenciaga better stick to its classic designs. And by classic I mean the classic Arena without the hideous see through unnecessary polka dots. I think I am making myself clear when I say I don't like this new Balenciaga style. The classic Balenciaga appeal is that its bags don't change much season after season and this polka dot non sense is not a yes for me.

Perhaps I am being too harsh on this design. Let's just say that I don't like bags with holes in them. Available here for 1095 Euro.

Reed Krakoff's - Mini Atlantique in Acid Pink

If I am going to be spending so much money on a bag that has double handles and an extra shoulder strap, it better have a safe way of closing it! I love the style of this bag  but the Reed Krakoff's Atlantique lost me without a zipper. I was expecting to find one on the inside of the bag, not a very obvious one, but it isn't there. Wondering if the Coach Legacy, that looks like the Atlantique, will have a zipper, because if not, they just lost me as a customer. Besides this, the shape is super cool, and the acid pink color is the best description of pink I've seen in a while, but the lack of zipper is a big no no for me.

Marc Jacobs - The Venetia in Fuchsia

Every time I see a sleek design my first impulse is to run my hands through it: feel the softness of the leather, follow the shape of the bag, inside and out, to finish putting it back where it should belong: my arms.

I know I already talked about the Marc Jacobs Venetia but this is one bag I can't stop thinking about. And since bright pink is big this Spring, I figured I might as well post the Fuchsia version for our own enjoyment. Available here for 1750 Euro.

Furla - Candy Rubber Satchel - Jelly S Bauletto

Just when I had made up my mind about spending some money on a bag, it sells out! This has been the case with me and the Candy satchel by Furla for about a year. Every time I see a color I am in love with, it's gone in a nanosecond. All I did was send the bag to my husband, try to make up my mind a bit, and now it's gone!! The color in cotton candy is beautiful, but it's no longer there! Of course, there's always teal and geranio red, but they don't compare. Besides, I had a gift certificate I wanted to use! So unfair!
